Tomatosphère
Over the past eleven years, Tomatosphere has evolved into a regular component of the science curriculum for more than 14 250 classrooms in Canada and the United States. This year classes received two sets of tomato seeds. One group of the seeds for 2013 has been primed. The second set of seeds is the control group. Students will learn how to conduct a scientific experiment and compare the germination rates of the two groups of seeds. http://www.tomatosphere.org/

We raised $390!
We tallied up all the money we raised for the We Are Silent campaign with Free The Children and it came to $390! Palliser Heights has decided to allocate all money collected for Free The Children to their clean water projects. With $390, three families will get clean drinking water for life! The next project that the WE day students plan to organize will be one to raise money for a local charity. More information to follow…
