We’re studying soil in Science. We are making our own wormeries to study how earthworms help the soil.

Pour célébrer le Saint Valentin, nous avons dansé la Bastringue avec la classe de 4e année.

On Thursday we had a conversation via Skype with Mr. Sorenson’s Grade 6 class from Cresco, Iowa (@Gr6Sorenson).  We follow each other on Twitter and discovered that we are both reading the book, Wonder, by R. J. Palacio.  For our first call, we discussed our favourite parts.  Surprisingly, we had similar favourites!  We look forward to discussing the book with this class again as read further along.

In order to receive a Gold Certificate in Mathletics, a students must earn over 1000 points for 25 weeks. Our first Grade 3 certificate was awarded this week. This was our celebration.
