Our class was very excited to receive our Worm Factory 360. We will now be able to compost some of our fruit and vegetable waste from our lunches. We are very happy to have a pound of Red Wiggler worms as classroom pets!

we are students from St.Agnes school we are going to start are own vermi compost. a few questions we had were, where did you get your worms? Do you still have them? do you have any tips on how to take care of them? thanks for answering our questions and helping us learn, so we can have are on vermin compost.
Hello St. Agnes! Glad to hear from you! We got our worms from the Little Green Thumbs program but they are doing really well and we’d be happy to share some with you. The best tip we can suggest is to use the Worm Factory. It can be ordered off of Amazon and makes vermicomposting way easier! The key is to keep the moisture content stable and the Worm Factory does this very well! We would love to answer any questions you have about composting with worms! -Mme Kreuger’s class
Thanks for answering our questions. We actually have a Worm Factory! We just don’t know how to use it yet. We where wondering if it was ok with you, if we could come over sometime so your students could show us how to use the Worm Factory. Could our teacher call to arrange a time? There are 9 of us in our group and we would love a short demonstration.
Also, thanks for the generous offer of sharing your worms!
That’s great that you have a Worm Factory! We’d love to show you our set up. Let us know when a good time would be. Our teacher’s email address is kreuger.claire@prairiesouth.ca Hope to see you soon!
