Today we did the international OREO challenge with Projects by Jen. We stacked OREO cookies to see who could get the highest number. We had a lot of fun doing it. The highest at Palliser Heighs was 21 by Mme Juteau!

Pirate Day!
We had a great pirate day today! We made hats, read pirate books, danced pirate dances and ate pirate snacks!

Dot Day!
Treaty 4 Gathering in Fort Qu’Appelle
On September 15th, the anniversary of the signing of Treaty 4, four classes from Palliser Heights School made the journey to Fort Qu’Appelle to take part in the annual Treaty 4 gathering.
There were lots of fun activities to do.
We loved seeing all the tipis!
We got to witness the treaty annuity payments being made to registered band members. The RCMP officer told us that she had shaken over 3000 hands already that day!
As long as the sun shines, the grass grows, and the river flows, we are all treaty people!
