Cool international collaborative project
We’ve been discussing how we can use digital tools to create and remix music. This is a super inspiring example of people coming together from around the world to create a cool cover of Cheap Thrills.
Assessing Digital Content
We used our critical thinking skills today as we assessed the difference between a parody and a cover of a song.
First we watched this parody of the One Direction Song ‘Story of My Life’.
We discussed some thoughts on why it sounded funny, then we listened to the original version.
We discussed how to remove audio and replace it and how one person can do all the different parts.
Then we watched Mike Tompkins cover a song using only his voice.
