We are part of the Tomatosphere project. We have been given two sets of tomato seeds from the Canadian Space Agency. One set spent 6 months on the International Space Station. We are doing an experiment to see if being in space affects the germination rates of the seeds!
We also watched one of the science experiments that Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield did while in the Space Station.
We participated in Lots of Socks Day in order to learn more about Down Syndrome. We even got to eat Sock cookies!!!
In honour of St. Patrick’s day, we graphed the number of marshmallows in a box of Lucky Charms. This was part of an international project with students around the world all investigating Lucky Charms.
We were very fortunate to have Maestro Gerrard of the RSO come to talk to us about the importance of music.

We had a blast at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina. We saw SNAKES!!! And Chief Paskwa’s pictograph of Treaty 4.
We also had so much fun at the Symphony!
Today we had an awesome Skype call with Marie-Noelle, a flautist from the Regina Symphony Orchestra! We sang one of our songs for her and she helped us learn the dance. We can’t wait for our field trip on Friday. We are excited to be a part of the Regina Symphony Orchestra’s Link Up Concert!

We were so lucky to have the chance to meet Mrs. Crosbie who runs a family dairy just West of Moose Jaw. We got to see and smell what the cows eat and take a look at fresh, unpasteurised milk. We learned a lot about how milk gets from the cow to our table!
