We were so lucky to have the chance to meet Mrs. Crosbie who runs a family dairy just West of Moose Jaw. We got to see and smell what the cows eat and take a look at fresh, unpasteurised milk. We learned a lot about how milk gets from the cow to our table!
OB had a lot to say about this and was very excited about local cheese, and how much less pollution it is to eat local food. One question she says she wished she would have asked “how can we be sure that it is not painful for the cows to be hooked up to the machines?” and “do they actually like it?”
